Click the “Search Sea Offender Registry”. Read the disclaimer and type the characters that are displayed at the bottom of the page. Click “Accept”.
You will now be taken to the search options page. There are search tabs for zip, address, name, county and city. Click the tab you want to use and select the options that are available.
Click “search” and the website will return with a list of names based on the criteria you set.
While there is no specific option to map sex offenders in my neighborhood on this site, the information on each offender is detailed. Just click on the name and you will see a picture, physical description, aliases, address information and more.
Aside from providing a wealth of information the site also has a link to the most wanted sex offenders in the state as well as a guide on who to contact if you have information about them. The website also has a notification link to keep you informed, as well as a FAQ that answers most of your common questions. The website also has a sex offender registry document which you can view and download, plus links to other useful and relevant websites.
The Homefacts website is another resource you can go to for information and to lookup a sex offender by address in VA.
